What qualifications does your coach have to be a personal trainer?

John is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with over a decade of experience. He also carries active Certified Nutrition Coaching and Certified Wellness Coaching credentials from NASM, as well as a BASc from Western Michigan University.

How personalized are the training plans?

Each training plan is unique and specifically tailored to your health, goals, and lifestyle needs. I combine current science for nutrition guidance, as well as overall wellness, with my experience-based work and instructing in special programs, and the last 8 years of coaching in every program I make. Working out isn't confined to just the gym, and there are many things that can help or hurt overall wellness in life. My goal will be to help you work towards a healthier, higher-performing version of yourself.

Can I switch between different services or plans?

Absolutely! Flexibility is key in our training approach. You can switch between session frequency and length, and if local, I love to coach in-person sessions as well. The main focus will always be to reach your goals and enjoy the process along the way, and there are many ways we can remain flexible to do so.

What measures are in place to ensure the safety and effectiveness of my workout

Safety is paramount at Rose Performance Training. All programs begin with instruction on proper form and technique, and in-depth guidance on diet and how to balance health and wellness when life throws speed bumps at you. Regular evaluations are performed to adjust workouts, minimize the risk of injury, and ensure optimal effectiveness.

Do you offer nutrition advice specific for weight loss or muscle gain?

Yes, I provide tailored nutrition guidance for weight loss, muscle gain, and athletic performance. As a CPT and CNC, I provide comprehensive nutrition guidance tailored to weight loss, muscle gain, and performance. While I don’t provide prescriptive meal plans (which are legally reserved for Registered Dietitians), I coach you on how to build your own meals, manage your macros, and develop sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle.

What is the cancellation policy for sessions?

Sessions can be rescheduled or canceled with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may be charged in full.
